On Friday morning, the beautiful Zara Tindall wowed onlookers at the Barbury Horse Trials, which took place at Sharpridge Farm. Taking the reins of several horses, the wife of Mike Tindall took an Open Intermediate class event at the Marlborough location and looked fresh-faced and ready for action.
Donning traditional and durable horse-riding attire of jodhpurs, a helmet, and a sporty top, the 44-year-old notably sported a face that was free of makeup, letting her gorgeous natural skin shine through.
Zara may have chosen not to highlight her features with cosmetics due to the fact that she was taking part in a physical activity. Many people opt to go bare-faced when exercising, as sweat often clogs the pores, causing a build-up of bacteria. Regardless, Zara looked lovely and so youthful, sporting blemish-free, hydrated skin.
Zara's makeup essentials
Although Zara often looks glamorous at public appearances, her beauty look is what many would categorise as rather low-key. She always looks natural, only using minimal makeup to accentuate her skin.
Zara's trusted makeup artist, Alisia Ristevski, who goes by the name @littledollfaceofficial on Instagram, often shares pictures of her royal client, with up-close shots of her immaculate hairstyle, and informs followers of the must-have products she uses on Princess Anne's daughter. Over the years, she has said she loves the 'Magic Cream' by Charlotte Tilbury, as well as a refreshing facial mist from Kiko Milano.
"I like to keep my clients looking very natural, and for skin to look like skin. I would do a slightly heavier look if I were doing a big event such as the coronation or a royal wedding. But I do prefer to do a lighter texture foundation," she exclusively told HELLO! in 2024.
"I also like to use primers underneath the foundation. Layering is very important to create a glow in the right places. I highlight the cheeks – contouring and cheeks are my thing," she quipped.
Reflecting on her royal makeup role, Alisia added, "When you are dealing with people who are constantly in the public eye, you need to be cautious of what trends will date very quickly. I work very much with Zara's personal style and adapt her looks as her style changes over the years. She's happy to try different looks, particularly if we think it will complement the outfit," she explained.
