After almost 30 years of marriage, country music singers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are still hashtag couple goals. The hit makers tied the knot in 1996 and have enjoyed 29 happy years of matrimony, welcoming three children on the journey.
Writing songs together throughout the years, the duo first met in early 1994 at the Country Radio Seminar's 'New Faces' show in Nashville, Tennessee. They were both in different relationships at the time and didn't start dating until they reconnected on tour two years later.
Mere months after Faith joined Tim's 'Spontaneous Combustion' tour, the pair were married and revealed they were expecting their first baby together.

The early 90s were where it all began, when the couple of singers embarked on a tour together and fell head over heels in love.
Unwilling to wait, despite only reconnecting in the spring of 1996, they decided to make things official and tied the knot in October of that same year.
They organised a surprise wedding and invited their family and friends to what they told them was going to be a softball game and concert in Tim's hometown of Rayville, Louisiana. The guests were shocked when they realised they were actually gathered to watch the pair exchange vows.
Tim told LIVE! with Regis and Kelly in 2011: "We had to tried to plan it a couple times but everybody kept finding out about it," when asked why they surprised their loved ones.

On 5 May 1997, Tim and Faith became first-time parents to a little girl they named Gracie. Faith was spotted sporting a baby bump shortly after news of the secret wedding broke.
She attended the 24th Annual American Music Awards on 27 January with Tim and a fully grown stomach she hid underneath a floating white mini dress.
Gracie has followed in her parents' footsteps and is pursuing a career in entertainment, having performed in plays on Broadway.

Just over a year after the birth of Gracie, the couple fell pregnant again and welcomed their next child, another daughter, Maggie, who arrived on 12 August 1998.
The most private of the couple's three children, Maggie refrained from entering the world of showbiz and instead works on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., having graduated with a Master's degree in sustainable science.

Three years after the birth of Maggie, Faith and Tim became parents for a third and final time and announced the arrival of their youngest girl, Audrey on 6 December 2001.
Audrey shadowed her sister Gracie and is a singer herself, joining the likes of Brandi Carlile on her Lost Time Tour.
Speaking about his children, Tim told People: "It's inspiring to me to watch them go out on their own and do the things they do. We've raised three strong, independent, strong-minded young women. And what I'm most grateful for is just how normal our kids are and how grounded they are and how much they respect themselves and other people. It makes me feel like we've done a pretty decent job, especially Mom."

On the 10th anniversary of their partnership, Tim and Faith took the stage and delivered a spellbinding performance at Conde Nast Media Group's third annual Fashion Rocks concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

In 2021, the couple celebrated 25 years of marriage with adorable social media tributes to one another.
Tim posted a reflective image of his proposal and wedding and wrote a caption that said: "25 years later and it's still the best day of my life. Thanks for going on this journey with me. Love you Faith.
He added: "We had dated for a while. I actually asked her to marry me quite a few times and she kept saying no. She said, 'I'm not going to get involved with another country singer, it's just not going to work out.'
"They had these trailer houses set up. I'm getting ready to go onstage, and I had this sort of case that had this big mirror in it. She's standing there, and we're talking, and I said, 'Look, let's get married. And she says, 'You're asking me to marry you at a country music festival in a trailer house?' And I said, 'Well, it's pretty apropos if you think about it.' She goes, 'Are you serious?' And I said, 'Well, yeah, I'm serious.'
"And we still have that mirror. And it was the best day of my life, that's for sure," he concluded.
