Madonna has been dating former soccer player Akeem Morris, 29, since 2024. The couple met in August 2022 when they starred in a photoshoot for Paper Magazine; however, they were not romantically linked until July two years later.
They reportedly briefly split in October 2024, before rekindling their relationship and sparking engagement rumors when Madonna showed off a huge diamond ring last January and admitted she is ready for "more love."

He relocated to New York City for college and attended Stony Brook University between 2014 and 2018, achieving a bachelor's degree in political science and government, according to his LinkedIn. Currently, he lives in New York City.

Akeem played soccer during his time at Stony Brook and then briefly for the Major League Soccer club Oyster Bay United FC, according to ESPN.
Outside of his career in the sport, he seems to support the British team Chelsea FC, as he took his then-66-year-old girlfriend to see the team play at their Stamford Bridge stadium.

Akeem's ex-girlfriend, Reagan Rice, was certainly shocked when she saw he was dating Madonna, even going viral on TikTok. She shared a video captioned: "Put a finger down if your boyfriend of 3 years is now dating Madonna." The video got over eight million views, as she shared photos of herself with Akeem to prove their relationship.
Since then, Reagan has opened up about their relationship after the former couple split in September 2023. She told People: "I don't think he's a bad person. I do have so much love for him. He was a great partner to me for the time we were together, so no ill will towards him whatsoever."
