Oprah Winfrey shows no signs of slowing down, in fact, she's recently kicked into high-gear career wise.
The mogul impressively signed an exclusive multiyear deal with Amazon, to provide viewers with all 25 seasons of The Oprah Winfrey Show episodes, The Oprah Podcast, Oprah's Book Club, as well as "Oprah's Favorite Things" franchise, on one digital platform.
The move is huge being that her content house Harpo Productions will provide ad-sales rights, as well as audio and video distribution to the massive brand.
The deal also means that The Oprah Podcast, which was launched in December 2024, will provide two weekly episodes to listeners instead of one, and the new schedule which will kick off in the summer.
In July, the podcast will be streamlined on Audible, Fire TV Channels, Amazon Music and Prime Video.
Oprah's take on the new partnership
Oprah shared in a statement just how much her podcast means to say, revealing: "Hosting this podcast allows me to continue the work I feel called to do — opening the door for conversations that matter. The kind of conversations that remind us we're not alone, and invite us to see ourselves and one another more clearly," per Variety.
She added: "Expanding our reach globally is an opportunity I embrace, as we continue to connect through stories that invite new ways of seeing and, hopefully, deepen understanding."
Amazon's Vice President of audio, games and Twitch shared in a statement: "Oprah Winfrey has built one of the most iconic, timeless brands in the world, spanning television, publishing, and beyond."
He added: "Through this collaboration with Harpo Entertainment, we are bringing her voice to more people and expanding how her audiences engage with Oprah in ways only Amazon can deliver."
Oprah's net worth
The financial terms of the partnership haven't been publicly shared, but it comes as no surprise that the deal will be a lucrative one, and will bring Oprah's bank statement to new highs.
Oprah's jaw-dropping net worth is $4 billion, per multiple reports. The star also made history with her financial accomplishment by becoming the first black female billionaire.
Oprah's vision
Oprah earned her decades-long successful career by listening to her gut instinct as a journalist and knowing when it's time for a change in her career.
She recalled during Essence's luncheon: "The truth is, I try not to let other people define for me whether I have power or don't. I ended the [Oprah Winfrey] show, and then there were a whole bunch of people who said, 'Oh, you don’t have power anymore.'"
Oprah expressed: "But the truth is, I know who I am, and the thing about power for me is that it's connected to a source that's obviously greater than myself. Any time you can connect to the source and understand that that's where all of your energy, your creativity, your joy and your triumph come from, I consider that to be authentic power."
